Hi Steve, the space is there because I didn't want a tighter crop as I would have lost her bust, and I wanted to keep the image to 1.4 Aspect Ratio. Also, from a stock point of view, the white space would give a designer a place for text.

That's cool. I didn't think of that. The lighting is great. How was the backdrop lit to avoid shadows? I can never seem to get that right and have to end up taking them out in photoshop.

Softbox to the front and right of the model, and a single lamp with a spill kill to the left of the model but set further back than she is to light the white paper. Cool eh
